Overview:

Our client is a leading provider of contract manufacturing, PCBA solutions and Cable Harness solutions and associated services.

As a business development manager you will be responsible for the generation of a portfolio of new business wins, demonstrably adding value to the business through delivering additional turnover and profit whilst also enhancing our reputation for project delivery.

Role

You will take full responsibility for the new business development and account management of a portfolio of clients across a multitude of sectors that include Mil/Aero, Automotive, Rail and Medical etc

You will proactively support business decision-making by:

  • Building strong relationships with new clients through business development and sales generation
  • Working across the business as part of a cross functional commercial team responsible for the growth of both turnover and profit
  • Ensuring the accuracy of contracts & tenders
  • Key account management of existing clients
  • Creation of new revenue streams
  • Contribute proactively as a key member of the commercial team, in recognising and suggesting improvements to the project management and forecasting processes to aid consistency, success and professionalism
  • Presentations and order closing

This opportunity will carry a high level of autonomy and you will be expected to deliver results fast.

The right candidate will come from the CEM or PCBA Sector  and possess prior working knowledge and experience.
