Our client is a leading, international manufacturer of interconnect solutions (fibre optic, circular & board connectors etc), they are now seeking an experienced and motivated business development manager to join their commercial team to help with new revenue generation within major OEM customers across the EMEA region (Mainly Europe & Israel).

What you'll do:

  • Identifying and winning new business via design in wins with OEM customers in the EMEA region

  • Targeting OEMs within the telecom’s, electronics, and high technology sectors

  • Strategic business development 

  • International travel

  • Competitor analysis

  • New product introduction

  • Applications & technical support

You will have:

  • A technical degree or apprenticeship preferably in either electronics or electrical engineering

  • Strong working knowledge of how to develop revenues via the design-in process

  • A solid technical understanding of connectors, E-mech components, electronics or cable Assemblies/harnesses

  • You will have a hunter type sales personality

  • 5 years+ external sales experience for an electronics, sensors, E-mech, connectors or cable assemblies manufacturer

  • International sales experience would also be ideal

What's in it for you:

  • £60,000 to £75,000 salary

  • 40% commission Scheme
