As a technical sales professional, you would be expected to work on your own autonomy whilst also being a key individual within our commercial team.

The main facets of the position are to:

  • Develop new business by ensuring our condition monitoring solutions are specified and sold into end users in the water, print & packaging, pharmaceutical and engineering sectors etc.

  • Account management and growth of our existing end user’s customer base.

  • Develop a strong understanding of our condition monitoring solutions (instruments, sensors, and cloud-based platforms).

  • To strategically plan which potential accounts are primed for growth.

  • Negotiate and close sales, follow up and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • To manage a Southern sales territory effectively.


Reporting to the Sales Director
But also liaising with other Senior Managers internally


  • The candidate should have at least 3 years technical sales experience

  • The ideal individual would be from the condition monitoring or asset integrity industry (preferably with a knowledge of cloud-based solutions also)

  • Knowledge of how to win business via solution selling is essential

  • A mix of new business and account management attributes are needed for this role

  • The ability to spot sales opportunities and close orders is essential.
