Our client is one of the market leaders within the industrial valves industry. They have excellent relationships with their customers and have an established product portfolio that includes control, gate, butterfly & ball valves etc. They are looking for a proven individual from within the industry to help further develop their revenues in the UK power generation sector.
Valves, actuators, instrumentation and associated engineered process solutions etc
Role & expectations:
You will be able to demonstrate experience in the following activities:
- Technical sales & power generation industry experience coupled with a good understanding of selling valves via specification.
- The majority of this role is key account management, therefore proven experience of dealing with many engineering contacts across multi-site power generation accounts is desired.
- To also demonstrate that you can generate new revenues using business development techniques (10% of the role).
- Excellent customer service and technical knowledge are essential
- Negotiation skills and the ability to close project orders is a pre-requisite
- Ability to plan and manage your own workload
- To hit a sales target of £4 Million+
