An exciting opportunity is now available within a leading manufacturer of transformers & associated electrical Solutions, this UK company sells into the power generation, civil engineering and renewable energy sectors. Their product offering is vast and includes transformers & switchgear etc, their products are genuinely industry leading from an engineering viewpoint. This commercial role is to manage & develop a small sales team of 4.
As a sales manager your main responsibility is to ensure sales budgets and objectives are achieved within the region (UK) you are responsible for:
- Primarily, the role is to manage, develop and grow the end-user & contractor driven business, it is expected this will be accomplished through the use of a pro-active business development approach (sales target £5 million+).
- You will also be responsible for developing and managing a contracts & tendering team and one sales engineer
- Work closely with other Senior Management individuals, Engineering and all sales support functions.
- Sales strategy and contracts & tenders
- Key account management
- Project order closing
