An exciting opportunity is now available within a manufacturer of adhesives tapes & associated adhesive solutions, this renowned company sells into the construction, technical textiles & medical sectors etc. This commercial role is to further develop sales and increase their market share in the next 5 years, with this in mind part of the sales target will be split between new business generation as well as account management.
As a technical sales professional your responsibility is to ensure sales budgets and objectives are achieved within a defined regional territory.
Primarily, the role is to manage, develop and grow the end user & OEM driven business, it is expected this will be accomplished using a pro-active business development approach.
You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining sound customer and prospect relationships and possessing overall awareness of activities happening within the sales territory that affects or could potentially affect the ability to sell product in the marketplace.
To offer technical assistance and applications based support to engineers.
Management of the distribution channels.
You will work out of a home office predominantly when not visiting customers.
