Overview:
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
As a product manager you would be expected to strategically lead the way in helping our organisation develop its market share within its circuit protection portfolio.
A big part of this role requires collaboration with our commercial & technical teams.
The main facets of the position are:
· To gain a strong understanding of our circuit protection products offering.
· To assist the sales team in developing circuit protection design-in revenues either direct or through channel partners.
· You will understand how to develop a product roadmap.
· You will become the product champion and help our sales team with training and promotional activities.
· Ideally you will have the capability to offer commercial & technical support to our key account base globally.
· You will work with our key accounts on new project opportunities.
· To liaise with other departments like marketing, to help deliver the best commercial proposition into viable industries.
· To set and monitor the product pricing strategy
REQUIREMENTS:
· You should have at least 3 years product management industry experience (either in the electronics or electrical industries).
· The ideal individual (although not essential) would be degree educated
· A mix of commercial skills and product management attributes are needed for this role.
· Good technical skills and applications knowledge are desirable.
· A pro-active personality and strategic mindset are hugely important for this role.
