Overview:
An exciting opportunity is now available within a leading rotating equipment manufacturer, this established organisation operates worldwide and has some differentiating niche solutions to complement its comprehensive product portfolio, they operate within the energy, renewable energy and emerging technologies sectors. This sales manager role is to help further develop project sales revenues and to increase their market share within the UK energy sector (project values £4 million+).
Position
As a sales manager your primary responsibility is to ensure sales budgets and commercial objectives are achieved.
- Primarily, this role is to develop project sales revenues within the energy and renewable energy sectors. It is expected this will be accomplished using a technical sales approach.
- You will also be responsible for creating strong end user and EPC contractor customer relationships, utilising key account management techniques.
- You will be working closely with engineers and technical decision makers; therefore, it is expected that you will possess a strong technical aptitude.
- A deep understanding of rotating equipment is essential.
- This is a hybrid role where you will be working from a home office and conducting customer visits and MS teams meetings.
- Project specification & project order closing is a pre-requisite of this role.
