Tendering Engineer (HAYELEC010)

Candidates:

Most suitable candidates will be degree educated in a technical discipline (ideally electrical engineering) and already possess atleast 3 years experience within a tendering/proposals/bid’s role. You must have a proven track record of managing engineering project bids and helping the commercial team win large project sales.

Our client is specifically looking for someone based in Yorkshire, the ideal candidate would already be managing complex project bids and have experience of direct customer interaction.

They are looking for a proven individual from within a tendering environment to help further develop their internal project team.

Role:

You will be able to demonstrate experience in the following activities:

·      Commercial support to Head of Sales / Internal Sales Manager and the External Sales Managers.

·      To interpret and understand the technical, commercial and contractual requirements of the bid documentation to form a robust win strategy.

·      Responsible for controlling the bid preparation process from receipt of the bid through to final approval, prior to submission.

·      Working closely with the factory to ensure technical compliance and required delivery expectations can be achieved.

·      Presenting the bid to the internal team and clients.
