We are searching for a dynamic pre-sales/field applications engineer to join our team to help support growth in our machine vision product range within the UK. If you excel in applications engineering, technical assistance, and pre-sales support, then this opportunity is for you!

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer technical support to our OEM & end user customer base 
• To help the sales team with project enquiries and the specification of machine vision systems  
• Liaise with customer engineers to offer applications support & to provide proof of concept 
• Offering onsite product demonstrations and presentations on machine vision system capabilities
• Helping with the software and interface solutions to ensure the smooth integration of the vision systems
• To be the machine vision product champion and technical guru to our sales team

 Requirements:

• Apprenticeship/degree educated within electrical engineering or automation 
• A strong technical background in automation solutions & machine vision systems
• Strong applications knowledge and relationship building attributes
• Field based experience and excellent communication skills
• A genuine passion for the evolving world of machine vision systems
