This established international organisation (employs over 500 people) has a strong reputation and is renowned for its engineering excellence, customised solutions, reliability and competitive pricing.
🔍 The Brief:
- New sales role looking after a UK sales territory.
- Focus on expanding sales of our electrical product range through the distribution sectors.
- Seeking a candidate with strategic sales skills and an understanding of working with the likes of Farnell, Rexel Group and smaller distributors etc.
- To develop OEM sales via technical specification.
🚀 Responsibilities:
- Emphasis on driving new OEM sales opportunities via distribution through proactive business development.
- To forge important relationships with distribution sales teams and product managers to ensure our products remain at the forefront of their electrical offering.
- Dual sales visits to OEM customers to win project orders.
- To deliver product presentations and sales promotions at HQ & branch level.
- To collaborate with distribution customers to provide commercial & applications support.
- Engage with OEM engineers to understand their project needs and offer tailored solutions.
- To build a credible sale pipeline of potential new project wins.
💼 Desired Skills:
- Background in electrical/automation product sales ideal but other backgrounds considered.
- Experience of managing distribution partners is essential.
- A proven track record of sales achievement and revenue growth.
- Strong technical acumen and ability to drive product specifications would be ideal.
