An exciting opportunity is now available within a leading manufacturer of automation solutions, this established organisation operates worldwide and has some differentiating automated solutions to complement its comprehensive automation product portfolio. This project engineer role requires a confident individual to work with our key accounts in the UK. 

Position

As a project engineer your primary responsibility is to offer full customer support and accountability at all stages of the project, ensuring that technical and commercial objectives are achieved.

• Primarily, this role is to pre-project plan, complete onsite installations & commissioning of automated equipment, and then offer post-project support.

• You will also support our account base with post project service solutions and advice.

• You will be working closely with our customers engineers and technical decision makers; therefore, it is expected that you will possess a strong technical aptitude and communication skills.

• An automated equipment product background is desired.

• This is a fast-paced role where you will be expected to be onsite with customers on a weekly basis.

• You will also assist the sales team from a technical viewpoint and help them win new projects.

• Previous experience of being a project engineer within the automation industry is essential.
