POSITION DESCRIPTION:
As a business development manager, you would be expected to work on your own autonomy whilst also being the main IoT solutions collaborator within our UK commercial team.
The main facets of the position are:
To develop sales of our IoT solutions offering into the factory automation and manufacturing sectors.
Winning new business by ensuring our IoT solutions (hardware, software, data analytics and cloud) are specified and sold into major end users and OEM customers throughout the UK.
You will assist with the business development, product management and technical strategy to ensure double digit sales growth for our organisation, on complete IoT solutions offering (with a focus on hardware and digital platforms).

An exciting opportunity is now available within a leading manufacturer of interconnect solutions, this established organisation operates worldwide and has some differentiating niche solutions to complement its comprehensive product portfolio. The industry sectors that we target are industrial, medical, automotive, military & aerospace etc.
The main requirement of this role is to spearhead this organisations revenue growth in the main aerospace & defence OEMs.
Position:
As a business development leader, your primary responsibility is to ensure that the sale target of £8 million+ is achieved and surpassed.

Candidates:
Most suitable candidates will already be working as a field-based automation engineer, you will also have a stable career history, coupled with the motivation and energy required to travel to customer sites on a frequent basis. You must have the personality to develop relationships with our customers engineers and the expertise to conduct time efficient commissioning, project and service work.
Do you have a proven track record of sales achievement in developing key accounts? Are you looking for a career move to an international manufacturer that sells a comprehensive range of bearings and power transmission components to the OEM market sectors.
Candidates:
Most suitable candidates will have experience of selling bearings/power transmission parts within the OEM sectors. Ideally you will have already sold into the off highway, automotive, aerospace, rail and energy industries.
