An industry leading manufacturing business that provides mechanical seals and aftermarket solutions into the rotating equipment sectors is now looking for a new sales engineer. This renowned organisation is well established (50 years+) and employs 4000+ people globally, they have an impeccable reputation for product excellence and customer care.

The Brief

·       A new position has become available within the sales team to facilitate the growth of our mechanical seals product range & service solutions within a Northern UK sales territory (sales target £2 million+)

·       We typically sell via end users and OEM's; therefore, strategic sales and technical attributes are desired.

·       We are looking for someone who can develop strong customer relationships, using account management methods.

·       As a technical sales professional you would be expected to liaise with engineers and offer applications support to customers.

·       This important role demands a committed and dynamic person with an in-depth knowledge of how to sell engineering solutions to our clients in the chemical, power generation and energy sectors.

·       It is imperative that you have a mechanical seals/rotating equipment sales background as well as a strong personality and an aptitude to develop new business from low spending or dormant accounts.
