Overview:

An exciting opportunity is now available within a leading manufacturer of seals, gaskets and O-rings, this established organisation operates worldwide and has some differentiating niche solutions to complement its comprehensive product portfolio. This technical account manager role is to help further develop sales revenues and to increase their market share within the UK automotive sector (sales target £4 million+).

Position

As a technical account manager your primary responsibility is to ensure sales budgets and commercial objectives are achieved.

• Primarily, this role is to develop sales revenues within the automotive and motorsport sectors. It is expected this will be accomplished using a technical sales approach.
• You will also be responsible for creating strong customer relationships through key account management techniques.
• You will be working closely with engineers and technical decision makers; therefore, it is expected that you will possess a technical aptitude.
• Thermoplastic/rubber/elastomer/composite product knowledge is desirable but not essential.
• This is a hybrid role where you will be working from a home office and conducting customer visits and MS teams meetings.
• Product specification & project order closing.
