Overview:

An exciting opportunity is now available within a leading provider of automation products, this established organisation operates globally and is a genuine innovator within the automation industry offering PLC's, drives, HMI's & automation components.

They are now looking for a strategic sales professional who understands how to develop sales revenues via the OEM, end user and distribution channels.

Target sectors include food & beverage and industrial markets etc.

Position:

As a technical sales professional your main responsibility is to ensure sales budgets and commercial objectives are achieved.

  • The primary focus of this role is to devise and implement an OEM sales strategy that will ensure strong revenue growth.
  • You will be responsible for the management and development of some of our key accounts.
  • Your main aim will be to maximise revenues and profit through strong relationship building and gaining OEM partner trust.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence people will be required for this multi-faceted role.
  • To also motivate and work with the sales teams of our distributors to ensure our products are specified and sold ahead of the competition.
  • You should be highly entrepreneurial and be motivated to win new project based business.
  • This is a hybrid role comprising, working from a home office, customer visits and MS teams meetings.

This position requires an experienced individual from within the automation industry, you must have the gravitas to inspire others to help you achieve your company objectives, and you must be comfortable working autonomously.
