An exciting opportunity is now available within a leading manufacturer of connectors & interconnect solutions, this established organisation operates worldwide and has some differentiating niche solutions to complement its comprehensive product portfolio. This field applications role is to support their European aerospace & defence key accounts.

Position

As a field applications engineer your primary responsibility is to ensure our customers receive the highest level of technical expertise and support.

• This role is to help with the design-in of our RF connectors & cable assemblies solutions within the aerospace and defence sectors. It is expected that this will be accomplished by spending time on OEM customer sites in Europe.

• You will also be responsible for creating strong customer relationships.

• You will be working closely with engineers and technical decision makers; therefore, it is expected that you will possess a strong technical aptitude within the RF connectors industry, as well as being a strong communicator.

• RF connectors/cable assemblies/cable harness/components product knowledge is essential.

• This is a fast-paced role where you will be expected to be customer facing in Europe on a two weekly basis.

• Product specification & helping to close project orders with the sales team.

• To be the first point of call to customer engineers when they need technical support.
